Creative Marketing Specialist - Hire Power Recruitment - South Africa

Reference: PE000186-HP -1 We are currently seeking a Creative Marketing Specialist with a comprehensive skill set encompassing graphic design, content creation, social media management, monitoring of metrics as well as setting up and carrying out strategic marketing . The ideal candidate will have experience in creating compelling marketing materials across various platforms. The companies/products that will be worked on revolve around high-end Lodges, Hotels and Travel with a highly refined sense of style – we are looking for a self-motivated person who understands how to communicate a story of luxury experiences as well as run with the projects and make it their own. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Web Design/Development Co-Ordinator: Co-ordinate with the web design team to implement strategic marketing plans as well as graphic design rollouts. Monitor web performance metrics and improve where possible based on results. Graphic Design: Create eye-catching graphics for marketing materials, ensuring a cohesive and visually appealing brand presence. Content Creation: Craft engaging content for newsletters, social media posts and other marketing channels. Demonstrate a flair for both written content and aesthetics. Copy could be checked by consultant but base information and direction to be supplied to consultant. Collateral Design and Production: Design marketing collateral such as brochures, flyers and banners that align with the brand identity. The look and feel of the lodge to be carried through to all channels. Social Media Management: Develop and execute social media strategies to enhance brand visibility. Create and schedule content, respond to audience engagement, and analyse performance metrics. Copywriting: Utilise strong copywriting skills to convey brand messaging effectively across various platforms. Copy writing can be outsourced but language must be checked to see that it is in line with marketing campaigns rolled out. Presentations: Design visually compelling presentations that effectively communicate key messages. Presentations could be for agents, direct guests, investment proposals, development proposals etc. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Matric essential. Tertiary qualification in Sales and Marketing or related field. Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in graphic design, strategic marketing as well as social media. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Canva and any other programs that would aid in successfully setting up and rolling out campaigns. Proficiency in design software such as InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator etc. Ability to personally create and design marketing materials with attention to detail and creativity. Social media management experience with a proven ability to engage and grow online communities. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Open to SA citizens with a clear criminal and credit history. Valid unendorsed Driver's License with own vehicle, preferred. IMPORTANT ATTRIBUTES Must possess an ownership mentality and a willingness to take responsibility for tasks through to completion. Attention to detail, goal orientated and a desire to achieve your objectives. Highly organised, good at multi-tasking and able to deal with people at all levels.
