Position: Credit Manager

Location: Durban,KZN

Role Summary:

The role of the Credit Manager is to manage the credit lending and expenditure of the company

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

BSc in Accounting, Economics, Banking and Finance or relevant field
Proven work experience as a Credit Manager, Credit Analyst or similar role
Hands-on experience with accounting software
Solid understanding of lending procedures
Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to create and process financial spreadsheets (e.g. in Excel)
Negotiation skills

Roles and Responsibilities:

Adhere to the expenditure budget as forecast in the annual meeting.
Ensure all credit applications are correctly processed and new accounts monitored to create payment history.
Ensure all company expenditure is necessary, within the companies means and is done following all procedures and policies within the company.
Authorise all expenditure submitted
Monitor Petty Cash Claims
Correctly inform staff of procedures to follow regarding credit.
Perform any additional tasks as requested within the skill and scope of the position.
