Our client is currently on the lookout for a Credit Manager to join their team permanently in Germiston.
Duties:- Oversea debtors team
- Manage credit and collections function
- Develop and implement credit policies and procedures.
- Leadership and training innovation
- Work closely with the sales and finance departments to align credit policies with business goals.
- Assist in the negotiation of payment terms with customers.
- Ensure all credit activities comply with internal policies and external regulations.
- Stay up to date with changes in credit management best practices and legal requirements.
- Implement measures to mitigate potential credit risks.
- Monitor economic trends and industry developments that could impact credit risk.
Qualifications & Experience:- 10 Years experience in a managerial role
- BCom Accounting or BCom or Financial Accounting degree
- Ability to handle stress/ pressurised environment
- Management experience is essential
- Proficiency in accounting softwares (e.g. AccPacc, Greatplains and PowerBI)
