Manage the creditors' function and related activities in the company. Receive and prepare payment requisitions Compile account reconciliations and liaise with creditors to obtain account statement and any outstanding documents and/or refunds Provide remittance advice to creditors as and when required Request monthly account statements from all creditors Compile periodic consolidated procurement spend/ expenditure report for review against BBBEE targets Supplier and merchant onboarding including vetting and record keeping for BBBEE compliance purposes Maintain up-to-date folders and ledgers for each of the company's creditors Send out BOQs to Project Manager and/or Coordinators for approval before capturing for payment Petty cash management including disbursements (acknowledgment forms), collating and reconciling receipts Process expense claims Compile and submit Creditors information for VAT returns Cost control and cost centre allocations (Project/ Dept.) Data and record management including capturing, filing and maintaining all financial records of the organisation to ensure compliance with the Companies Act Oversee the running of the monthly creditors' statements and reports (AP Ageing, AP Provision etc) Ensure posting, allocation and/or reconciliation of daily creditor payment is done timeously Attend meetings as and when required Assist with general bookkeeping and administration duties and tasks Matric Minimum of a Diploma or bachelor's degree in accounting 2 years working experience in a similar position. Accounting system General knowledge of Legislations (BBBEE, IFRS, PFMA, MFMA, PPPFA, etc) Business Communication Skills Computer Literacy Microsoft Excel Numerical Skills Analytical Skills Attention to details Advanced business communication skills enabling verbal and written communication at all levels. The ability to analyse situations and to arrive at the best possible solution. The ability to communicate effectively and efficiently at all levels in the organisation. The ability to accurately give an account of information pertaining to the performance of outputs.
