Customer Service Agent (Logistics) - Johannesburg
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and resolve customer queries promptly and efficiently.
Promote and market the organizations products, including cross-selling.
Handle discrepancy reports and advise clients of damaged cargo.
Follow up on third-party deliveries and local/regional collections.
Address problem deliveries and manage accounts with futile trip charges.
Monitor and update customers on special shipments and truck arrival times for all branches daily.
Respond to customer queries within 30 minutes.
Provide daily reports on unresolved issues and any written complaints to management.
Forward potential leads and quotes for non-account clients to the relevant salesperson.
Generate delivery reports as requested by management.
Assist with data and POD (Proof of Delivery) capturing as needed.
Obtain daily floor check reports from operations and update Parcel Perfect accordingly.
Arrange and follow up on agent collections, and obtain PODs from agent websites.
Requirements:
Senior Certificate (NQF 4).
Code B drivers license and own reliable transport.
2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
Experience in the logistics industry is an advantage.
Familiarity with the Parcel Perfect system.
Willingness to work overtime and be available after business hours and during weekends when required.
Proficiency in computer usage, with excellent Excel skills.
