Customer Service Liaison (Horticulture) (Based in Vlaeberg) - Stellenbosch

  • Provide first tier customer care to all clients on arrival at the site and escalate queries where necessary.
  • Coordinate the sales administration with the internal team.
  • The successful candidate will be a customer focused individual that has strong administration skills.

60% customer, 30% admin and 10% sales

DESCRIPTION:
This position requires the person to be responsible for the following:

CUSTOMER CARE
  • Answering all website enquiries on email
  • First point of contact to greet new clients in the office and show them around in the nursery
  • Answering the phone in the office and assisting clients with pricing, stock availability and quotations
  • Escalate queries to the Senior Sales Consultant or the General Manager

COORDINATION/ADMIN
  • Requesting booking dates with operations team (Whatsapp group)
  • Gathering detailed access information and then liaising with operations manager regarding client access questions
  • Informing production and nursery managers about any plant/tree /pest information observed in the nursery
  • Quotes and Delivery notes on OMNI system. Moving of trees in and out of the SOLD warehouse on OMNI
  • Extracting the plant/tree catalogue and price list from OMNI
  • Mark and tag all plants sold to clients.
  • Keep stock up to date in the nursery if client tree choices change and the plants have been marked
  • General stock takes on large trees to check statuses. Forwarding data to stock control administrator

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Passion for excellence and for customer care
  • Ability to work with clients and operations team
  • Excellent communications skills - Able to read, write and speak in English or Afrikaans
  • Horticultural background (advantageous)
  • Computer literate - including WhatsApp, Outlook, Excel and in-house software
  • Drivers license
