EXPERIENCE:

+ 10 years experience in IT industry
+ 5 years experience in Technical Information Security positions
Alignment and experience with good practices essential (CoBIT, ISO17799 or equivalent)
Understanding of network protocols, cryptography, operating systems, and security tools is essential
The ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and draw conclusions is crucial for threat detection and incident response.
Network-based security experience is essential (Fortinet, Checkpoint, Cisco and Palo Alto)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Administration of Network Security Solutions and researching, designing & developing additional protection technologies.
Analyzing network logs for suspicious activity.
Configuring firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
Configure Web Application Firewalls (Fortiweb)
Configuring Forward and Reverse Proxy
Configuring Load balancers (FortiADC)
Configuring and Designing FortiAnalyzer reports
Configure and Support Zscaler ZIA and ZPA
Conducting penetration testing (i.e., simulating attacks to identify vulnerabilities)
Collaborating with colleagues on incident response.
Document policies, procedures and diagrams of the Network security environment.
Advanced threat response and investigation skills
Technical Lead in the delivery on Network Security solutions. Provide technical Hands-on, assistance, guidance & training to team members.
Proving input to the Delivery Solutions Team on RFPs related to Network Security Solutions.
Maintain information security technology management based on the industry good practice frameworks consistent with the applicable laws and regulations.
Ensure an ongoing security technology improvement program across the client through the appropriate mechanisms such as security compliance audits, risk / vulnerability assessment, awareness promotion and education.
Provide technical leadership to ensure that selected tools are exploited to ensure maximum client risk reduction.
Ensure the delivery in accordance with SLA, agreed process and procedures and good practices

KEY COMPENTENCIES:
Knowledge

Strong Technical understanding of hardware, software, application development, operations
Thorough knowledge of ITIL and COBIT best practice frameworks with specific focus on Security.
Strong Network Security Knowledge (Hardware, Software and Scripting)
General knowledge of security industries

FORMAL EDUCATION:

+5 years technical experience in deployment of Firewalls and Proxys (Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto and Checkpoint)
+5 years technical experience in deploying Zscaler ZIA and ZPA
Standards-based architecture with an understanding of how to implement, including compliance monitoring and enforceability
