Experienced IT Support Specialists skilled Cyber Security Long-term position (No end date in agreement) US hours (3pm-11pm) We are seeking skilled Cyber Security Support Specialists to join our clients dynamic team. As a Cyber Security Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to ensure then integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our organization's information systems and data. You will work closely with our IT team and various departments to implement security measures, respond to security incidents, and support the overall cyber security infrastructure. Technical Proficiency: Ability to effectively use and troubleshoot cyber security tools and technologies such as SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and antivirus software. Incident Response: Skills in detecting, analyzing, and responding to security incidents, including conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate security issues, recommendations, and best practices to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Problem-Solving: Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve cyber security issues efficiently, often under pressure. Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of relevant regulations, standards, and compliance requirements (such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS) to ensure organizational adherence and mitigate risk. Responsibilities: Provide technical support for cyber security tools and technologies. Monitor systems for suspicious activities and respond to security incidents. Assist in policy development and compliance efforts. Conduct security assessments and provide awareness training. Stay updated on cyber security trends and technologies. Qualifications: Diploma/Degree in Computer Science or related field. (Advantageous) Experience in cyber security support roles. Knowledge of security tools and networking concepts. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Relevant certifications preferred.
