Requirements:

• Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Information Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data management, analysis, or a similar role.
• SQL experience is essential
• Advanced Excel skills are required
• Familiarity with the logistics or mining industry is a plus.
• Proficiency in data management tools and software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Entering raw data from a variety of sources into the database.
• Using advanced functions in Excel to clean, analyse and present data (Vlookups, formulas, SUMIFs and Pivot Tables)
• Formatting and cleaning data
• Generating reports
• Other administrative tasks as required
• Develop and maintain advanced Excel spreadsheets, models, and templates for data analysis and reporting.

Data Collection:

• Gather, validate, and record essential data from various operational points, including transporters, mines, and in-country teams.
• Ensure timely and accurate data input into the centralized reporting templates.

Data Analysis:

• Process and interpret collected data to provide actionable insights.
• Use predictive analytics to forecast trends and potential challenges.

Reporting:

• Generate comprehensive reports based on processed data.
• Ensure timely delivery of accurate reports to stakeholders.

Communication:

• Liaise with in-country teams to streamline data collection and address discrepancies.
• Respond to stakeholder queries and feedback promptly and professionally.

Quality Assurance:

• Conduct regular data audits to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to identify areas of improvement.

Continuous Improvement:

• Participate in training sessions, workshops, and team meetings to stay updated with the latest data management best practices.
• Recommend and implement process improvements based on feedback and performance evaluations.
