Data Analyst II / System Analyst - South Africa
We are looking for an experienced Data/System Analyst for a 7-month contract towards JHB central for one of the TOP 4 Banks in SA. Offer tools and infrastructure for end-to-end business solutions delivery Internal and External relationship management Develop and maintain data pipeline architecture Create databases Gather large and complex data sets Create analytical tools Oversee large- scale data platforms Enable and run data migrations Manipulate, process and extract value from large disconnected datasets Manage 1 - 10 indirect reports Build and optimize big data pipelines Perform root cause analysis Drive continuous improvement Offer training Must have: Matric Degree OR Honours in either Information studies OR Information technology No less than 5-7 years' working experience, must have worked within a Bank. Experience with: SQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Cassandra, Azkaban, Luigi, Airflow, AWS Cloud services, Storm, Python, Java, C++ Strong analytical skills Problem solving skills Articulates very well Detail orientated Data interpretation skills Database administration skills
