Our client, a leading company within the Financial Services industry, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines, ensuring the availability, reliability, and accessibility of our data assets. Your expertise in data warehousing principles and experience with Hadoop components will be invaluable as we strive to optimize our data infrastructure and support our business intelligence initiatives.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
Proven experience in developing complex SQL queries and optimizing SQL performance.
Strong knowledge of ETL toolsets and hands-on experience with data integration and transformation.
Solid understanding of database technologies, both relational and non-relational.
Experience working with Hadoop components (e.g., HDFS, Hive, Spark) and related ecosystem tools.
Familiarity with data warehousing principles and best practices.
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java) for scripting and automation.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
