Data Engineer (Cloud) - Construct Education - Cape Town Region

Location: Cape Town Reporting Line: Engineering Lead (AU) Working Practices: Minimum two days a week in the office with option to work remotely for remaining three days Employment type: Permanent Working hours: 07H00 TO 15H30 Salary: Competitive Role summary The Data and Cloud Engineer is responsible for supporting the evolution of the technology solution and processes that support the entire development and delivery of Construct data related products and services. This role will support the Engineering and Development Lead in providing thought leadership, options and solutions formulation for the data engineering and warehousing technology and AWS Cloud space. Requirements To apply, you should have at least 3 years experience in: Relevant professional experience as a Data Engineer within data and analytics domain, for data extraction, ingestion and integration Orchestration tools such as Apache AirFlow SQL and working with multiple databases Python programming AWS (or similar) cloud-based data platform. E.g.
