About the role:
As the organisation relies more on its Group IT systems, the Infrastructure IT teams have a requirement to strengthen the security posture and align more closely with the Security teams. This role involves collaborating closely with the various IT Infrastructure and security teams to ensure that business data is secured according to current policies.
Salary: Up to R55 000 per month Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience in IT Support, working with computers at various levels and data security practices.
  • High level of written and spoken English.
  • Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • Highly skilled with deep knowledge of data security.
  • Some form of Licensing or Certificate for Data Security (CISSP, GIAC, PSP, CPP, CEH, CISA, CISM, SANS, ITIL, MCTS).
  • Good communication and business relationship skills plus a thorough understanding of data security.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ticket logging and resolution according to SLAs
  • Maintain applicable product and process knowledge to ensure IIROC, SOX processes and department policies are adhered to
  • Implement procedures that support the Data Security function.
  • Conceptualise, syndicate, and produce periodic risk metrics with multiple subset views at regional, country, and site level by using the key metrics completed by the Cyber Security reviewers for every ITSM ticket.
  • Support any audit or regulatory RFIs (request for information) that require data analytic actions into connectivity information.
  • Work with the tools provided to create reports for the external and internal auditors.
  • Maintain and understand the risks posed working with the Cyber Security team.
  • Ensure you are up to date with the current process and best practices.
