Leadership & Strategy Provide vision and strategy for all data engineering projects Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, ensuring project deliverables are met on time Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data solutions into business operations 2. Data Infrastructure & Analytics Drive the organisations migration to the cloud Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of our data warehouse, ensuring optimal performance Ensure the robustness and reliability of ETL processes Develop and optimize real-time data analytics solutions Manage all reporting deliverables 3. Expertise in Cloud Architecture, particularly with data-related services Manage our Azure data ecosystem, ensuring best practices are followed Utilize Azure Synapse for advanced analytics and data exploration Drive the roll out of self-service data provision across the organisation 4. Data Governance & Compliance Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with all relevant regulations Promote a culture where data quality is paramount 5. Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and prioritize data needs Communicate complex data concepts in a clear manner to non-technical stakeholders Essential Requirements: Relevant qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Must have at least 5 – 7 years data engineering experience with experience in Database Technologies: Solid experience in RDBMS technologies, including but not limited to, MS SQL, My SQL, Postgres. Solid experience in NoSQL technologies, including but not limited to, MongoDB, Cosmos, Redis. Solid grasp search platforms such as Elasticsearch or ELK. Prior experience working with Handson SQL, Python and R. Specialized knowledge in designing Cloud systems, especially those focused on handling data services: Strong experience in data analytics, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions. Proficiency with Azure Synapse and its integration within the data landscape. A solid understanding of how to approach a cloud centric data strategy. Prior experience within a call centre environment is beneficial. Familiarity with other cloud platforms and big data tools is a plus. Certifications in Azure or related technologies a plus.
