Our client, a UK based Data Protection service provider is looking to employ a Data Protection Officer to serve as the primary advisor for their client's data privacy needs. This role involves managing client relationships, ensuring smooth implementation of data protection products, and leading discussions on privacy risks. You will handle support queries, conduct audits, and continuously work to enhance client satisfaction. Provide expert data privacy advice to clients, ensuring top-tier service delivery. Oversee the implementation of data protection solutions for clients, meeting service expectations. Lead client meetings and workshops to address and solve privacy issues. Respond to data protection queries, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Conduct thorough audits to understand client risks and priorities. Build and maintain strong client relationships, adjusting services to meet their evolving needs. Offer feedback to the product development team based on client interactions. You will be required to work UK time zones Over 5 years of experience in a data protection role with relevant certifications (e.g., CIPP/E, C-DPO). In-depth knowledge of GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, PECR, and international data transfer regulations. Proven ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently. Strong experience in customer-facing roles with excellent relationship-building skills. Confident in discussing strategic data protection matters at executive levels. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to simplify complex information. R50 000 - R75 000 per month (± 8 - 12 days per month at R5000 - R7000 / day) Remote work for UK Clients Ideal for someone looking to work part-time and contracting roles
