Requirements: Accounting Degree (or equivalent) Chartered Accountant (SA) Designation (or equivalent) 2 – 5 Years Experience in the Automotive Industry, either as Accountant or Financial Manager Experience working on Evolve, Automate, Kerridge or Autoline Clear criminal record and credit record Must be able to work without supervision Dynamic individual, quick thinker, confident, innovative and hard worker Duties include but are not limited to: To ensure adequate financial control within the entity, identifying areas of financial improvement and controls to address key risks identified. Preparation of monthly management reports, and variance analysis, for business decision-making, including steering of the annual financial audit process. To manage the Treasury portfolio, steering the optimization of working capital funds, as well as management of key funding relationships. To ensure compliance with relevant legislation (SARS taxation, FICA requirements etc.) Overseeing the debtor's collection function, ensuring mitigation of credit risk and timeous collection of outstanding amounts. Overseeing the accounts' payable function, ensuring timeous payment of all financial obligations. Day-to-day management and monitoring of finance and accounting operational topics, including team management.
