Robert Walters South Africa Leading the wider Treasury team, and working very closely with the Group CFO, Legal division, and the Corporate Finance function, the role involves relationship management with existing lenders, tracking adherence to loan agreements, and re-negotiating loan agreements where required, as well as securing preferential agreements through negotiations on new loans. With plans to expand borrowing, a highly detailed individual with an excellent grasp of both strategy and FP&A within Treasury, will be needed to ensure the best deals in terms of price and commercials. Key duties of the Treasury Debt Manager: Manage existing loan book and all new avenues for debt-raising (analysis, relationships, and financials) Source new lenders, and expertly lead debt discussions, closing deals with banks and other financial institutions Collaborate effectively with the Global Finance Team, and the relevant deal-making teams (Corporate Finance) Ensure excellent communication at all levels, and both internally and externally Analysis of financial and operational data to identify opportunities and improvements Create Treasury Dashboards and reporting (supported by the Treasury Team) for senior stakeholders Build and maintain relevant financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and borrowing Key qualifications and experience required for the Treasury Debt Manager: Relevant degree or professional qualification At least 10 years of experience in a senior treasury role in a corporate setting or financial institution Experienced treasury professional with a diverse experience base Proven experience in leading and closing debt discussions of different sizes and complexities Key personal skills: Meticulous, technical individual In the detail, but also charismatic and confident when presenting to banks and financial institutions, etc. Fair, able to put themselves in "others' shoes" Able to deliver accurate work, on time, at high quality, even when juggling multiple considerations and deliverables Comfortable with a changing and rapidly expanding environment A skilled and proven leader of Treasury staff, able to develop others in their abilities and increase their scope If you are a finance professional looking for an exciting challenge, then we encourage you to apply to this unique, high-profile and senior role
