Reference: NFR004140-PaB-1 Are you a seasoned Debtors Controller Team Leader professional with a knack for leadership and operational efficiency? My client is seeking a dynamic Debtors Controller Team Leader to join their team. This role is pivotal in managing their credit control function nationwide and in bordering states, ensuring the timely collection of monies, and maintaining outstanding debts at an acceptable level. This role is based in Johannesburg West Rand. Key Responsibilities: Managing Team Performance: Lead and mentor the Credit Control Team, driving performance and efficiency. Operational Oversight: Direct and monitor nationwide credit control activities to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs. Debt Collection: Ensure timely collection of monies and maintain outstanding debts within acceptable levels. Credit Policy Implementation: Implement credit policies and procedures for credit vetting and debt collections. Stakeholder Interaction: Professionally engage with internal and external stakeholders. Credit Facility Management: Oversee the granting of credit facilities to new and existing customers within company policy mandates. Reporting: Compile Credit Control Reports at required intervals. Internal Controls: Eliminate internal control weaknesses through ongoing audits and awareness of ethical and business standards. Client Relationship Management: Manage strategic relationships with key account clients. Client Visits: Conduct on-site visits to determine and address client needs and requirements. Qualifications and Experience: A Credit Management Diploma, B.Com, or a related qualification. 3 years proven experience as a Debtors Controller Team Leader. Manufacturing/FMCG/Construction industry is Non-Negotiable Proficiency in Credit Control Systems – SAP, SAP CRM. Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office.
