Our client is looking for a suitably qualified General Manager for their Deli in Stellenbosch.
Responsibilities include:
- Staff management
- Lead, motivate and ensure a positive work environment
- Shift planning
- Customer interaction
- Set the standard for customer service and resolve inquiries
- Stock management
- Conduct regular stock checks,
- Place supplier orders and monitor waste
- Cashier duties As and when, if needed
Hours:
- Deli operates from: 7:30 - 23:30
- Shift 1: 07:30 - 15:30
- Shift 2: 15:30 - 23:30
- Weekends: 1 shift per weekend, rotating
- Closed: 4 weeks over June/July; 6 weeks over December/Jan
Requirements:
- Demonstratable experience in a similar role managing either a cafe/deli/restaurant
- Strong housekeeping and hospitality skills
- Energetic
- Self-Starter
Salary: 15k-22K based on experience.
