Design and Marketing Coordinator - Hi Tech Products - Johannesburg

Job Summary: Our client, a well-established importer and distributor of home appliances, personal care appliances, photographic equipment, device memory and storage, is seeking a Designer and Marketing Coordinator to join their team in Johannesburg, Bryanston. As the Designer and Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for design, campaign implementation, tracking, budget inventory and reporting. The Designer & Marketing Coordinator should be detail-oriented and have a solid understanding of marketing techniques with a keen interest in providing a consistent brand voice across all marketing activities to specific audiences. Skillset requirements: A degree or diploma in a relevant field, such as design, marketing, or communication 2 years’ experience in Design & Marketing Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign Project management experience Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms Agile & able to work under extremely tight deadlines Must be focused and have the ability to work on multiple projects, brands and campaigns simultaneously. Key Responsibilities: Design Uphold Brand CI governance standards across International Brands Download & organize global assets into brand libraries Brief global partners on retailer campaigns & design requirements Design visually compelling campaign assets for ad hoc and time sensitive projects Assist with traffic of all advertising efforts to appropriate channels and retailers Collate and consolidate integrated business presentations Distribute updated brand assets to retailers Review retailer's artwork and provide debriefs Ensure retailers' campaigns are executed timeously and to brand standards. Maintenance of our client’s business platforms - website, social media platforms, email signatures, business templates Develop and implement brand guidelines and standards. Marketing & Administration: Setup tracking systems for marketing campaigns and online activities Reporting on monthly marketing activities Track marketing activity, providing proof of execution (POE) and spend vs budget Compile monthly & quarterly MDF reports encompassing POE and marketing spend vs budget Ability to gather large amounts of data and convert it into meaningful analysis Assisting Key Account Managers with listing assets and creating listing packs Creating and updating of product and brand training material Oversee in-store execution including signage, POS, product ticketing and stand maintenance. Liaise with suppliers on comparative quotes, production and service delivery Monitoring of product representation, visuals and pricing on online sites Weekly tracking of Takealot’s sponsored products Assistance in brand launches and event coordination Manage PR and influencer product seeding Support Head of Marketing on all anchor campaigns and sponsorships Processing of invoices and inventory Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify areas for growth and competitive advantage.
