Our client is an engineering consulting company who provide tailored solutions in electrical engineering, equipment supplies and consulting services. One of their core services includes designing innovative solar PV and BESS plants. This role is a 2 year contract with a high probability of renewal. Should have BSc Eng, BEng degree in Electrical Engineering Must have at least 3 years as a Design Engineer from inception to detailed design of large-scale ground mount PV projects (not rooftop) – PVSyst, SLD's, Layouts, BOQ's Must have excellent technical report writing skills Must be proficient in AutoCAD/Microstation Preferrable to have previous consulting experience Design and understanding of MV systems is an advantage (MV reticulation, MV switchgear, MV substations) Strong verbal communication skills Strong time management skills Strong organizational skills Be able to lead technical discussions with other engineers and interface with other disciplines such as Civil, Structural, Mechanical and Geotech. Pr. Eng is not required The scale of projects is from 5MW to 100MW ground mount.
