The Key purpose of this role is to identify, log, manage, and ensure proper and on time delivery of digital products requested by SA Marketing BU, according to the processes and SLAs agreed with the requestors. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Drupal Development: Build and customize Drupal websites and web applications using Drupal core and contributed modules. Front-end Development: Implement responsive and accessible designs using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies. Backend Development: Develop custom modules, themes, and plugins to extend Drupal functionality and integrate with external systems. Database Management: Design and optimize database schemas to support efficient data storage and retrieval. Code Review: Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, performance optimization, and security best practices. Troubleshooting and Bug Fixing: Identify and resolve issues, bugs, and technical problems in Drupal-based solutions. Collaborative Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver projects on time and within scope. Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including project requirements, specifications, and deployment instructions. Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize website performance, including page load times, caching strategies, and server configurations. Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest Drupal trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure continuous professional growth. Profile: Experience Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Drupal development, including building custom modules and themes. Key Attributes and Competencies: Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Drupal 9/10, including site building, theming, and module development. Front-end Skills: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design principles. PHP: Strong proficiency in PHP and familiarity with PHP frameworks (e.g., Symfony) is a plus. Database Management: Experience with MySQL or other relational databases and SQL query optimization. Version Control: Experience with Git or other version control systems. Problem Solving: Ability to analyse complex problems and provide innovative solutions. Collaboration: Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities. Drupal Contributions: Active participation in the Drupal community, including module contributions and engagement in Drupal-related forums or groups. Drupal 9/10: Experience working with Drupal 9/10 and familiarity with the migration process from previous Drupal versions. Front-end Frameworks: Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular. DevOps: Knowledge of deployment workflows, server configurations, and experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus. Testing: Experience with automated testing frameworks such as PHPUnit or Behat. Self-motivated, organised and passionate Natural diplomacy skills Good time-management skills and strong team spirit. Pro-active, is persuasive and promotes strong business and revising skills. Agile minded and has the ability to perform under pressure. Communication Skills: Effective communication with designers, frontend developers, and other stakeholders is essential to ensure smooth collaboration and project success.
