Our client in the Telco space is looking for the following skills : Requirements Gauteng based Been in a DevOps/ Systems Administrator role 4 years proven experience working with Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems Cloud Platforms Containerization (Docker and Kubernetes) Strong Scripting skills VMware Databases, Networks (LAN,WAN) and patch management Knowledge of System security and data backup/recovery What you will be doing : Installation, configuration, monitoring and maintenance of server software and hardware User/group management Troubleshoot and resolve issues and outages Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment and configuration processes Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth code deployments Maintain documentation of implemented systems and processes Infrastructure level escalation point for technical support Ongoing training of support staff on new technologies and processes Test and implement new software tools and technology Desired Skills: Devops Linux VMware Systems Admin
