Our client is a leader within the civil works sector and is looking for a Red Seal-certified Diesel / Earthmoving Diesel Mechanic to join their team. - Conduct routine maintenance checks and repairs on various types of earthmoving equipment - Diagnose and troubleshoot any mechanical issues, including engine, transmission, hydraulic, and electrical systems - Complete paperwork and maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs done on equipment - Collaborate with other team members to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all equipment - Assist in the development and implementation of preventative maintenance programs for all earthmoving machinery - Red Seal - Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics and electrical systems - Ability to work independently and take initiative - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record R 30 000 - R 35 000 ctc per annum company car (depending on experience and qualifications).
