Reference: PTA000021-MG-1Our client, a well-established transportation firm is looking for a an experienced Diesel Mechanic to work as a Workshop Manager in Hartbeespoort area.Must be able to work evening and be available due to the nature of work Minimum requirements: Experience working within the same or similar position 2 years’ experience working as a diesel mechanic, supervising staff Ability to think out-side the box to ensure that trucks stay in a good working condition (Excellent problem-solving skills Large trailer maintenance experience Hands-on type of person Technically inclined Duties will include but is not limited to: Full function diesel mechanic duties on trucks (tipper trucks etc.) – largest part of the work Maintenance and fixing large trailers Buying parts and equipment for the workshop Manage workshop staff Dealing with health and safety issues Ensure paperwork is completed and accurate Will be involved in fixing and maintaining trucks and large trailers Inspects and repairs vehicles with diesel engines Handles routine repairs, including oil and tire changes Writes detailed inspection reports and repair plans Please note: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted R 30000
