A leading Civil Construction Company in Wellington is looking to appoint a qualified Diesel Mechanic with at least three years' experience in all aspects of repair, welding, maintenance of yellow machinery/equipment and heavy vehicles. The successful candidate should have experience in electronic and hydraulic technology on modern equipment and vehicles. The person should have the mechanical ability and aptitude to be able to identify/diagnose and solve problems. The candidates should be able to work under pressure and work independently. Must have very good interpersonal relations and to be able to communicate effectively. The person should be willing to work overtime and must have sober habits. Candidates should be prepared to work away from home from time to time. It is essential that accurate record keeping of all services and repairs on all equipment and vehicles is kept on a regular basis. A valid drivers license and own transport. A certified Diesel Mechanic. Three years' experience in the maintanence and servicing of yellow machinery and heavy vehicles. An above average remuneration package is on offer.
