Qualified, experienced Diesel Mechanic needed for permanent position in Cape Town. South African Citizens will be preferred Minimum Requirements: Qualified Diesel Mechanic (N4 Certificate or similar) with an apprenticeship completed at a reputable company will be preferable Trade Test successfully completed Valid driver's license Code 10 Licence (Code 14 licence will be advantageous) Excellent physical and medical condition without restrictions or limitations Ability to work long shifts and night work Proficient in English and Afrikaans (Xhosa would be advantageous) Skills and Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience conducting maintenance and servicing of yellow construction machines Able to service and maintain diesel vehicles and equipment. Ability to fault trace, inspect, diagnose and repair where applicable Must be able to service light/heavy equipment, engines, hydraulic systems and transmissions Hydraulic and Pneumatic experience Experience in maintaining Paver, ATV, Milling Machine and Rollers would be advantageous Equipped with own tools Knowledgeable on health and safety processes and policies Attentive to details and impeccable accuracy Civil / Construction experience would be advantageous Duties, Responsibilities & Reasons for Leaving at each Company MUST be listed on CV.
