The Digital SEO Copywriter will create engaging online content for the target audience, focusing on improving organic search results, expanding the digital audience, and growing online revenue. This role involves providing on-page content and other necessary content. Direct reports: None Indirect reports: Freelance content creators (copywriters, designers, video) as required Write high-quality, engaging long-form content. Work with the design team to select visuals that enhance user experience. Simplify complex topics into digestible, shareable content. Develop new articles/pages and optimize/rewrite existing ones. Develop content plans/topics aligned with the broader SEO strategy. Conduct keyword research/topic generation. Write compelling copy focused on target keywords with SEO and conversion in mind. Research and fact-check thoroughly for accuracy. Publish blog posts and web content according to the content calendar. Collaborate cross-functionally for content ideation. Implement initiatives to increase organic traffic to the website. Deliver content consistently, accurately, and on time. May be required to work overtime in line with operational requirements (this may include weekends, public holidays). Qualifications: 3 Year Bachelor's Degree, preferably in marketing, communication, English, journalism. GAIQ certification (Google Analytics Certification) is an advantage. Copywriting certification. Experience: 5 years' experience in a digital role as a copywriter; producing digital content. Experience in using SEO Tools and Google Analytics. Exposure/knowledge of the industry is an advantage.
