A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity is available at one of the premier golf & leisure resorts in the country for an experienced and motivated Director of Golf for Fancourt Country Club.
In your capacity as Director of Golf you will be responsible to manage, continuously develop, control, plan, direct, and coordinate, at both a tactical and strategic level, all aspects of the golf business. This involves providing a clear vision for its strategic direction, whilst taking personal responsibility for identifying additional sales and marketing opportunities, ensure customer service excellence is consistently delivered, and revenues and profitability are maximised.
The job also requires the successful candidate to offer verifiable success in managing membership expectations, efficient running of member competitions & events, and a strong focus on enhancing the overall membership experience of esteemed golf club stakeholders.
We consider the following criteria as essential: Grade 12 or equivalent, a relevant PGA qualification or currently being employed as a Director of Golf at a comparable golf club or estate; specialist knowledge of offering a world-class golfing experience; financial and people management expertise; experience and success in running a profitable Pro Shop.
