The dispatch clerk is responsible for accurately packing and preparing outgoing orders and ensuring the correct handover thereof to customers. Primary: Professionally attend to clients arriving to collect orders. Checking picked stock received from warehouse staff according to the picking slip, ensuring the correct part numbers and quantities are assigned. Pack all outgoing external and replenishment orders, ensuring correct paperwork is attached. Dispatch correct orders to collecting customers, ensuring PODs are signed electronically. Dispatch orders to the collecting courier company, ensuring waybills are accurately completed, correctly signed on a daily basis and filed. Regularly updating the dispatch shelf whiteboards to ensure picked and packed orders are easily identified on the dispatch shelves. Managing the checking, packing, and dispatch of exports order, ensuring the correct paperwork is attached. Assist the driver with on-time preparation and packing of all orders on delivery and ensure all correct paperwork is attached. General housekeeping of the dispatch area, keeping shelves neat and tidy, and ensuring stock is packed on the correct shelves. Secondary: Assisting with quarterly stock takes. Manage recycling of packaging materials. Assisting with warehouse duties when required. General : Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed. Assist with tasks related to the company operations that might fall outside the above-mentioned responsibilities. Essential Skills & Experience Written and verbal communication skills. Experience in customer service will be advantageous. Computer literate. You need to be able to handle the many tasks associated with dispatch work, including clear communication and the ability to manage challenges as they arise. Organisational skills are crucial. Qualifications National Senior Certificate (Matric) Company Benefits: Technoswitch contributes 5% of your salary towards a Pension fund. Quaterly bonus, subject to individual performance (Kpi's) and company performance. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs): Timeously attending to clients, having sales orders ready for clients & courier collections. Accuracy of dispatched orders and completeness of paperwork.
