Draughtsman - Machine shop/ Industrial gearboxes Personality requirements Reliable Honest Self motivated Strong in time management Hard working Sober habits Good communication skills Computer literate Qualifications, Experience & Knowledge required Machining and fitting knowledge Fitter & Machining is an advantage (experience and/or qualifications) Gr 12/N3 Minimum requirement Tertiary education will be a great advantage Minimum of 2 years’ experience, related to Mechanical Engineering workshop Knowledge of the following Conventional turning and milling, CNC turning and Milling, Gearbox Fitting Gear manufacturing experience will be an advantage Must have knowledge of different types of steel. Draughting requirements Able to do technical drawings Able to use measuring equipment Able to use 3D modelling Modelling of mechanical components Modelling of assembly drawings Understanding of tolerances for shafts, gears bearing fitments
