Draughtsman - - Johannesburg

Create detailed drawings and plans based on sketches, specifications, and instructions provided by engineers and designers.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure that drawings and plans meet project requirements and deadlines.
Review and revise drawings to incorporate feedback and ensure accuracy and completeness.
Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, reports, and presentations as needed.
Maintain organized records of drawings and revisions for reference and documentation purposes.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in drafting technology and techniques.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards at all times.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Draughtsman in the engineering or construction industry.
Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or similar programs.
Strong technical skills with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and detailing.
Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work well in a team environment.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and standards.
A degree or diploma in drafting, engineering technology, or a related field is preferred but not required.
