Where you'll work With almost 20 years of experience in the HVAC industry, this air conditioner and ventilation company provides the following services: Expert advice on complete air conditioning solutions Professional design and installation to clients' exact specifications Maintenance services to ensure optimal performance How you'll role As the HVAC Draughtsman you will work closely withe Engineering team to design and maintain drawings on AutoCad. You will ideally have been working within the HVAC industry for at least 3 years. Produce design drawings, shop drawings and as-built drawings for HVAC Systems on AutoCAD MEP Produce and maintain drawing registers, schedules and track administrative processes on projects Collaborate with Team Leaders, Project Managers as well as external clients High Proficiency in AutoCAD MEP Revit experience advantageous Deadline-driven, work well under pressure, attention to detail and excellent communication skills Familiar with the format and requirements of Council submission drawings and SANS 10400-O Codes Familiar with HVAC design (capable of selecting general HVAC equipment such as dans, diffusion and able to size ductwork; excludes chilled water systems) Must have formal qualification from a recognized tertiary institute in drafting, mechanical engineering or design At least 3 years' work experience with main function being that of drafting HVAC systems Must have been involved in some form of design work during this period (HVAC design capability is highly advantageous) Must have a driver's license R25 000 - R30 000 per month (negotiable based on experience)
