Reference: PTA001450-MF-1 Draughtsman Our client, specialising in engineering design and draughting services, is currently recruiting for a Draughtsman based in Middelburg, Mpumalanga. The successful candidate should come with at least 5 years' experience specifically within the mining industry with exposure to structural designs and conveyers. Minimum Requirements Matric Minimum of 5 years of experience as a draughtsman. Previous experience working within a mining environment. Proven experience with conveyors and structural designs. Proficiency in using AutoCAD and Inventor. Roles and Responsibilities Technical Drawing and Design: Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and Inventor software. Develop plans and layouts for mining conveyors and structural components. Revise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes and enhancements as needed. Collaborate with engineers to ensure accuracy and adherence to project requirements. Project Coordination: Coordinate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely completion of design tasks. Participate in project meetings to discuss design progress and issues. Provide technical support during the fabrication and installation phases. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness. Ensure all drawings comply with relevant standards and regulations. Maintain a library of standard designs and templates for reuse in future projects. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain organized records of all drawings and related documentation. Prepare detailed bills of materials and specifications for procurement. Provide regular reports on design progress to the engineering manager. Health, Safety, and Environment: Adhere to all company health and safety policies and procedures. Ensure designs incorporate safety standards and practices. Participate in safety audits and inspections as required.
