As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a talented Draughtsman to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of our solar projects. Proven experience (2 years) working as a draughtsman or CAD technician, preferably in the solar energy or construction industry. Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD, with experience creating technical drawings and schematics. Strong understanding of engineering principles and construction techniques, with a focus on solar PV system design. Collaborate with site surveyors to incorporate site-specific data and considerations into design drawings. Support project managers in reviewing subcontractor drawings and specifications to ensure alignment with project requirements. Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives. Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software (e.g., AutoCAD) to create accurate and detailed drawings, layouts, and schematics for solar PV systems, including solar panel arrays, mounting structures, electrical wiring, and interconnection diagrams. Ensure that all drawings and plans comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations, including local building codes, electrical codes, and utility interconnection requirements.
