Our client is looking for a candidate to join their drawing office, they are leading manufacturers of smoke and natural ventilation. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Draw up shop Drawings (AutoCAD) for installation. Research and development into new and improved products (Solidworks) Create detailed technical drawings and plans for construction and ventilation projects. Collaborate with engineers and architects to develop design concepts and translate them into accurate drawings. Ensure drawings comply with industry standards and regulations. Revise and update drawings as needed throughout the project lifecycle. Work closely with project managers to meet deadlines and project requirements. EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS: A minimum of 3 years' experience as a draughtsperson, preferably from a construction / ventilation background Computer literate (MS office Word/ Excel) AutoCAD and SolidWorks is essential. Knowledge of construction drawings Bilingual in English and Afrikaans Technically minded. Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Own transport. A stable work record and have contactable references.
