Our client has an opportunity available for a Drawing Office Manager. Requirements: Diploma or tertiary qualification as a Draughtsperson. 6 years of relevant experience in the boiler, structural and high-pressure piping design and construction environment. 3D scanning, registration, modelling and simulation. Advanced experience in software associated with CAD, 3D scanning, 3D modelling. 3D simulations and 2D fabrication drawings within the boiler generation industry. Proficient in Autodesk complete suite of design tools, Cadworx, Inventor, Navisworks, NX, Scene or similar software. Responsibilities: Training & Development from a personal objective point of view and to ensure team growth and capability to be in line with latest technological trends. Quality and Accuracy of draughting and modelling. People Management and leadership to maintain team capability, capacity and growth/recruitment as per business requirements. Supporting the General Manager for Engineering in achieving the company strategy. Project Management to ensure drawing output performance meets the project objectives. Manhour estimation and structuring of the draughting portion of projects in support to the engineer's requirements. Internal and External Customer Relationship Management.
