Petrochemical Industry.The E&I Field Engineer will provide field specific technical leadership and support to the E&I design team incl. conducting of field audits, management of Contractor budget and schedule and develop and maintain client relationships Industrial and Petrochemical Industry will be advantageous.Be responsible for Quality Assurance (QA) checks of Contractor Quality Control (QC) documentation, physical verification that the installation is built to the Design Engineers intent and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Other activities will include commissioning assistance of electrical and instrumentation systems and project handover dutiesA qualification in Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering or a related field (Minimum Electrician / Technician). Minimum of 10 years hands-on experience in E&I field installations, testing and commissioning. Knowledge of LV, MV, switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS, PLC’s, field instrumentation. Experience with codes and standards including SANS and IEC. Experience working in a project team, including managing budgets and schedules.
