E-Commerce Picking and Packing Supervisor - Midrand
Position: E-Commerce Picking and Packing Supervisor
Our client is looking for a dynamic E-Commerce Picking and Packing Supervisor to join their team in the Midrand area.
Our client's e-commerce division has witnessed substantial growth in recent years, creating a fast-paced, innovative, and performance-driven environment. They are currently seeking a self-driven and detail-oriented E-Commerce Picking and Packing Supervisor to join their team in the Midrand warehouse.
The ideal candidate will possess a customer-centric attitude with a strong passion for detail and aesthetics, ideally with experience in retail, production, or picking and packing processes emphasizing quality and customer experience.
Requirements:
- A completed National Senior Certificate (matric / Grade 12) or NQF level 4 qualification.
- At least three years' experience in a production, retail, e-commerce, and/or warehouse environment.
- Fluent in Afrikaans
- Experience in staff management.
- Demonstrate a target-oriented and performance-driven attitude.
- Possess the ability to work productively, efficiently and effectively, with initiative and drive under tight timescales and pressure, whilst maintaining attention to detail and excellence.
- Ability to adapt to and implement change effectively.
- Sustained high energy levels.
- A creative approach to solving day-to-day challenges.
- A strong sense of ambition.
- Available to work on weekends and public holidays.
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office apps).
Responsibilities:
- Oversee picking and packing activities, whilst ensuring that orders are packed according to company standards, with a strong focus on the unboxing experience and quality of the packages.
- Manage corporate orders according to prescribed instructions.
- Ensure that preparation is done for seasonal offerings (Easter, Wine Club, Christmas, etc.).
- Manage order volume by ensuring that packing productivity is met.
- Enforce basic food hygiene and safety measures.
- Manage picking and packing teams:
- Provide continuous engagement and training for new products and specifications.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures.
- Set performance indicators and ensure that targets are met.
- Drive continuous improvement.

The position in based in the office
Location: Midrand, Johannesburg.
Salary: R33 000-R35 000 CTC per month.
