Job Title: Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic Position Summary: RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic to join our client's team in Polokwane. As an Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of earthmoving equipment, including bulldozers, excavators, and loaders. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical background and a passion for working with heavy machinery. Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance and inspections on earthmoving equipment Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues Replace faulty parts and components Perform preventative maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions in a timely manner Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively Qualifications: Grade 12 or equivalent Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic Trade Test Red Seal Certificate Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic Strong knowledge of earthmoving equipment and related systems Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Valid driver's license Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment parts and components Ability to stand, crouch, kneel, and reach for extended periods of time Ability to work in tight and confined spaces as needed Benefits: Salary: negotiable Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity) Paid Time Off (PTO) (if applicable) Contact RPO Recruitment for your next career opportunity.
