Perform diagostic tests on engineering vehicles and equipment to identify issues with engines,transmissions and gearboxes. Repair,mantain and overhaul engines,transmissions and gearboxes. Disassemble,inspect and reassemble components such as pistons,cylinders,valves,bearings,gears and shafts. Use diagnostic equipment,hand tools,power tools, and specialized machinery to complete repairs and maintenance tasks. Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems related to vehicle propulsion and auxiliary functions. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to minimize risk of injury or damage to equipment. Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair worked performed,including parts used, labor hours and service history. Trade Tested - Red Seal 5 years post trade experience; willing to work in Mozambique for 4 weeks, and one week back in South Africa; Must have a valid passport; Experience on CAT and Komatsu machines.
