Job Title: Head of Academic Operations Location: Sandton, Gauteng, South Africa Reference : REFL001 Contract Type: Permanent Salary: Market Related Job Summary: Aligned to the Institution’s vision and strategy, the Head of Academic Operations provides academic operational and administrative management and leadership and is accountable for all associated academic planning and administrative tasks in the student value chain which include interalia, registration, calendars, timetables, assessment administration, results and reports, to certification and graduation processes. Educational requirements: Hons/Master’s degree At least 3 years Academic Operational Experience in Higher Education Experience with Learning Management Systems as a developer or administrator 3-5 years’ experience within a senior management level in higher education Sound understanding of student value chain in higher education Academic planning and assessments processes and practices Experience in dealing with regulatory affairs and academic quality assurance processes with a higher education environment Key Responsibilities: Academic Operations: Year planning Academic operations administration Registrations, assessment Certification and graduation Learner management system Systems Administration Indepth knowledge of systems such as moodle and ICAS Requirements: Educational requirements: Hons/Master’s degree At least 3 years Academic Operational Experience in Higher Education Experience with Learning Management Systems as a developer or administrator 3-5 years’ experience within a senior management level in higher education Sound understanding of student value chain in higher education Academic planning and assessments processes and practices Experience in dealing with regulatory affairs and academic quality assurance processes with a higher education environment To Apply: Click Here Application Deadline: 03/12/2021
