REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 5 years commercial experience, with 3 years senior accountant experience and financial manager experience.
Preferably experience in a holding company or diverse group.
BCom degree NQF 7, and CIMA or ACCA or SAIPA designation.
Experience in fair value measurement advantageous.
Must be able to work in a highly pressurised environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Preparation of monthly financial reporting (journal processing, balance sheet recons, consolidation).
Accounts payable cycle review and sign off (preparation where required).
Preparation monthly cash flow forecasts.
Preparation budgeting and forecasts.
Acting as company secretary.
Ensuring compliance of group.
Preparing reporting packs.
Management of external audit.
Annual AFS preparation.
Tax Computation and submission.
Monthly monitoring of investee performance.
Valuation preparation/Inputs and review.
Covenant monitoring/debts management.
Key skills and attributes:
Excellent Microsoft office suite skills, with Excel being essential.
Ability to work under pressure.
Deadline and detail orientated.
Well-rounded team player.
Individual with high integrity
