You're an Electrical Design/Draughtsperson with excellent problem-solving skills with an ability to work as part of a team thanks to your strong communication skills and technical knowledge. You are capable of working on Eplan , Siemens Sivacon S8 and AutoCAD software in General Arrangements (GA's) and show attributes of managing multiple projects simultaneously with your methodical approach to tasks. What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it) You will be joining a leading LV Switchboard Manufacturing and Engineering organisation where you will be responsible for designing electrical systems with Eplan Electric and AutoCAD design software. You will be responsible for developing detailed electrical schematics and wiring diagrams for switchboard manufacturing projects in Motor Control Centres (MCC), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Distribution Boards (DB). You'll work closely with the project managers, sales teams, and customers to ensure expectations around projects are met and provide technical support to the production team during switchboard installations. Where you'll be doing it You'll be based within the head office in Alberton within a leading LV Switchboard Manufacturing and Engineering Company. You'll sit with a team of 13, who are open and friendly allowing for a pleasant working environment. What you'll need You'll need a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical draughting and design with proven exposure to in MCC's, PLC's, DB's. Experience with Eplan and AutoCAD design software is essential . A relevant technical qualification or certification in electrical deign or engineering will be beneficial and of course, excellent attention to detail will allow you to shine.
