This is an extraordinary opportunity to make an impact in infrastructure development within a multi-disciplinary project Form part of an existing design office Participate as a team member, contributing ideas and possible solutions Lead on issues where appropriate Participate in electrical computations and ideas Design drawings, specifications, reports, and other project deliverables while working with the other disciplines within the project team Make technical assumptions, think independently to complete assigned work, and draw engineering conclusions Perform assignments designed to develop professional knowledge and abilities, requiring application of standard engineering techniques, procedures and codes Provide design inputs and reviews of other engineer's projects Attend meetings with clients and promote positive client contact with current or prospective clients Skills & Experience: At least 10 years' experience in Consulting Engineering At least 10 years' experience in design and project execution supervision experience in the reticulation industry At least 5 years plus in design and project execution supervision experience in the solar or wind sector Professionally registered with ECSA for 5 years Registered as a Certified Energy Manager Experience in the analysis and design of systems such as, Electrical Renewable Systems, HV and MV Infrastructure, MV & LV Reticulation, RMU's and transformers Generator & UPS Systems, System analysis using ReticMaster or DlgSilent Understanding and apply Electrical & Electronic Building Services RMU's and transformers Qualification: BEng (Electrical Engineering) Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered .
