Grade 12 / relevant NQF level 4 Relevant Engineering Trade Certificate - Section 13 / 26D Electrical Supervisory Certificate N3 Qualification Valid medium voltage certificate Minimum of five (5) years' experience as an Artisan (Electrician) in a process plant environment Two (2) years' experience as Engineering Foreman / as relieving Foreman in a Concentrator / Plant environment (advantageous) SAP Planned Maintenance experience (advantageous) Valid driving licence code B,EB or C1 Medical Certificate of Fitness The Engineering Foreman must assist to ensure compliance with the legal requirements as set out in the Minerals Act (MA) & Regulation, the Mines Health and Safety Act (MHSA) and Regulations. Compiling and controlling necessary budget requirements in order to adequately maintain all equipment and infrastructure in his area of responsibility. Ensuring that through proper maintenance and planning system, all equipment and infrastructure is adequately maintained in order to provide for optimum availability and utilisation thereof to obtain pro-duction targets. The job holder builds a motivated and unified performance driven team and manages/liaises with service providers, customers and other interested and effected parties, ensuring customer satisfaction and sound relations and is also responsible for good house keeping.
