Are you a skilled Electrical Technician looking for a new opportunity? We have a fantastic opening in the Maintenance department at a Production company in Durban . Reporting to the Maintenance Foreman, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of electrically controlled equipment and facilities as the Electrical Technician. Non-Negotiable Qualification, Experience & Skills: Trade tested Electrician/Millwright Electrical Wireman's license Minimum of 3 years' experience in electrical maintenance within a factory or installation environment, with hands-on exposure to hydraulics and plant equipment Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision (proven track record) A team player comfortable working in cross-functional teams (Tool Room, Manufacturing, Warehousing, etc.) Experience and knowledge in PLCs and automation is advantageous Highly safety-conscious and experienced in a manufacturing environment Responsibilities: Repair, maintain, and build electrically controlled equipment and facilities Assist the Electronic and Mechanical Maintenance team in diagnosing and repairing electrical faults Liaise with suppliers to effect repairs of electronic equipment Review and maintain the essential electrical spare parts requirement for critical equipment Conduct all duties in line with the company's Quality Management system Prevent any employee from using any plant or machinery in a manner that constitutes a safety hazard or may cause damage to such equipment Please note that if you have not heard from us within 7 working days, your application was unsuccessful.
