Electrical Manager - Piet Retief
Our client is searching for an Electrical Manager to join their team in Piet Retief.
Main Functions will include but are not limited to:
- Being an integral part of any future planning, new technology and processes on site.
- Recommending methods that will improve the end project
- Compiling and submitting reports that will improve the end project
- Justifying the purchase of the best equipment for each project
- Determining the life span of electrical equipment and plans for replacement
- Improving the manufacturing capabilities of the factory as economically as possible.
- Understanding the design basis of the equipment.
- Following test procedures.
- Optimising energy consumption and sources of pollution.
- Analysing all electrical stoppages and sources of pollution.
- Looking at history and statistics.
- Making recommendations.
- Attending to Plant breakdowns.
- Assisting with mechanical maintenance if and where needed.
Minimum qualifications and experience:
- B.Sc. Electrical Engineering
- N6 and Government Certificate of Competency or T4 and Government Certificate of Competency
- 5 years experience related to Electrical and Project Engineering (specifically related to factories)

- Technologically minded.
- Good planning/managerial skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to lead and supervise engineering team.
