Our large coal and heavy minerals mining client is currently recruiting for a Electrical Site Supervisor to manage Contractor Construction Supervisors for a project or area within a project, controlling all contractor activities via a multi-Disciplinary team for the construction execution of the project on site. Interfacing to the relevant Engineering, PCO, SHE, Procurement, Risk and Project Management functions as required and according to the relevant PEP and Procedures. Contract Position: 12 Months Location - Kriel Minimum Qualification and Experience Required Degree in Electrical Engineering or B Tech Electrical Engineering or N Dip: Electrical Engineering. Trade: Artisan (Relevant) MQA/QCTO Accreditation (Advantageous). Electrical Wireman’s license. (COC). (Minimum requirement). 5 Years minimum relevant Construction and Commercial Management experience (2.9.2 Appointment as Site Supervisor) covering the following: bulk material handling systems, installations and commissioning (electrical and instrumentation). Electrical network reticulation and building installations to compliance with electrical codes and standards. Ensuring effectiveness of QA program - reviewing AFC drawings, coordinating inspections, conducting FAT and SAT, databook management. Identification, management and reporting of SHEQ risks related to construction execution. Sound knowledge of the Mine Health & Safety Act & Regulations, Occupation Health & Safety Act & Regulations and Building Regulations.
