Job Title: Electrical Supervisor - Mining Industry Location: Gauteng, South Africa RPO Recruitment's client is looking for a skilled and experienced Electrical Supervisor to join their mining team in Gauteng. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the electrical maintenance and operations on site, ensuring that all electrical systems are functioning efficiently and safely. The Electrical Supervisor will also be responsible for managing a team of electricians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed. Responsibilities: Supervise the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in compliance with company and industry standards Manage a team of electricians, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring work is completed on time and to a high standard Conduct regular inspections and assessments of electrical systems, identifying any potential issues or hazards and taking appropriate action Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure ongoing performance and reliability of electrical systems Coordinate with other departments and contractors to plan and execute electrical projects as needed Monitor and report on budget and resource usage for electrical operations Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and guidelines Essential Requirements: Electrical Trade Test Certificate Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field Minimum of 5 years' experience as an Electrician in underground mining, shaft conveyor and reticulation systems At least 2 years' supervisory experience Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and tools Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to effectively lead and manage a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment Benefits: Salary: Negotiable Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity) Paid Time Off (PTO) If you meet the above requirements and want to make a career-changing move, apply today by either filling in the online application form or emailing your CV to RPO Recruitment at miningrporecruitment.us Alternatively, you are also welcome to contact Anzaan Kennedy on LinkedIn or call her on 021 180 0776.
